Dr. Serena Lau, DDS

Dentistry has evolved at a rapid pace since I graduated from the University of Alberta in 1992. It has been very exciting to be a part of this profession. I am very glad to provide honest and reliable solutions to my patients’ dental needs. I am thankful for the trust my patients have placed in my care.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Upon receiving my Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Alberta in 1992, I worked in Slave Lake, Alberta as an associate for two years. In 1994, I took over Dr. Adat’s practice on Fraser Street. In 2004, I purchased the neighboring dental office, the Fraser Dental Group. On my days off, I am a busy mom of two girls.

Dr. Holly Lu, DDS

Dr. Holly Lu (Yue Lu) completed her dental degree in 2015 at the University of Adelaide. After working in Australia near the beautiful Great Ocean Road for two years, she relocated to Vancouver in 2018 and decided to call Vancouver her home.

She has been interested in human health since childhood under her father’s influence, an orthopedic surgeon. She dreamt of becoming a dentist because she fancies the combination of science and arts in dentistry.

On any given day of work, providing the best quality care, ensuring accurate diagnosis, and taking care of her patients like family are her top priorities. Every year, she has dedicated hundreds of hours to continuing education to ensure she has the most updated knowledge and skills for her patients. She loves helping patients with her comprehensive dental health assessment, from bad oral muscle habits and airway assessment to malfunctioning bite that causes repeated gum and teeth issues.

She is a proud member of many top dental associations, such as the International Association of Orthodontics and the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain. She has full registration with the College of Dental Surgeons of BC and the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. Dr Holly Lu is fluent in both English and Mandarin. Since dental school, she has been passionate about dental volunteer work and giving back to the community. In her free time, you will find her trying out new cooking recipes, making handcrafted artwork, and enjoying the stunning landscape during a hiking trip.
