Dr. Serena Lau, DDS

Dentistry has evolved at a rapid pace since I graduated from the University of Alberta in 1992. It has been very exciting to be a part of this profession. I am very glad to provide honest and reliable solutions to my patients’ dental needs. I am thankful for the trust my patients have placed in my care.

Upon receiving my Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Alberta in 1992, I worked in Slave Lake, Alberta as an associate for two years. In 1994, I took over Dr. Adat’s practice on Fraser Street. In 2004, I purchased the neighboring dental office, the Fraser Dental Group. On my days off, I am a busy mom of two girls.

Dr. Nick Chahal, DMD

As a life-long volunteer, Dr. Chahal has dedicated numerous hours to his community in South-Vancouver as well as providing dental aide to the less privileged in Sydney Australia, Vietnam, and Cambodia. Since 2018, Dr. Chahal was elected to be the British Columbia Dental Association’s (BCDA) Director-at-Large and has since held a position on their Board of Directors. Dr. Chahal is also currently an editor for the BCDA dental magazine. With patients, he is calm and easy-going and pays high attention to detail with patient care.

Education & Experience:
Dr. Chahal completed his undergraduate degree in Cell Biology and Genetics with an honours year at the University of British Columbia, as well as a Master of Management degree from the Sauder School of Business, Robert H. Lee graduate program. Having completed all of his education in British Columbia, Dr. Chahal thought it was important for self-growth and global exposure to live and study abroad for the final leg of his formal education, thus receiving his Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree from the University of Sydney with distinctions.
